Marketplace Terms and Conditions

Terms for Listings, Inquiries, and Marketplace-Related Features

These Marketplace Terms and Conditions govern the use of marketplace-related features on CEVEW Global Business Directory, including business listings, product or service information, inquiries, and any marketplace functionality that CEVEW may introduce. They should be read together with the CEVEW Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.

Important: CEVEW currently operates primarily as a business discovery directory. Unless expressly enabled and separately documented, CEVEW does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, arrange delivery, or complete transactions between buyers and sellers. Any transactional feature introduced in the future will be governed by additional terms published before launch.

01 Introduction

These Marketplace Terms and Conditions describe how marketplace-related features on CEVEW Global Business Directory may be used and how they relate to CEVEW's broader platform. They apply to users who access marketplace-related features, browse product or service listings, submit business inquiries, or participate in any marketplace activities CEVEW may offer.

Different features may be governed by additional terms. Where specific terms apply to a paid service, transactional feature, or distinct marketplace functionality, those terms will be presented before the relevant service is used.

02 Acceptance of These Terms

Users must read and comply with the terms applicable to their use of the platform. Users who do not agree with the applicable terms should stop using the relevant marketplace features.

Using a specific feature, submitting a listing, or sending an inquiry indicates that the user has reviewed the terms applicable to that feature. A visit to the website alone does not create a legally enforceable agreement beyond what applicable law provides.

03 Definitions

For the purpose of these terms, the following terms are defined where relevant:

  • CEVEW — CEVEW Global Business Directory, the platform at businesses.cevew.com.
  • Platform — The CEVEW website, its features, and related services.
  • Marketplace — The set of features that enable business discovery, listing submissions, product or service information, and inquiries between users and businesses.
  • User — Any person or organization accessing the platform.
  • Buyer — A user exploring listings or making inquiries about products or services.
  • Seller — A business or authorized representative presenting products, services, or information through the platform.
  • Business — A company, organization, or commercial entity whose information appears on the platform.
  • Listing — A profile, product entry, or service entry displayed on the platform.
  • Product — A physical item or digital good referenced in a listing.
  • Service — A professional, commercial, or other service referenced in a listing.
  • Order — A confirmed purchase request, where an order mechanism is enabled.
  • Transaction — Any commercial arrangement between a buyer and a seller.
  • Content — Text, images, artwork, product descriptions, and other materials submitted to the platform.
  • Third-party service — Any external website, provider, or platform referenced through CEVEW.

These definitions apply only where relevant to features that are actually offered by CEVEW.

04 Marketplace Operating Model

CEVEW primarily operates as a business discovery directory. It helps users find and learn about businesses, and it may facilitate inquiries between users and businesses.

Unless a specific transactional service is expressly enabled and documented, CEVEW does not itself sell listed products, own seller inventory, accept purchase payments, arrange delivery, or complete transactions between buyers and sellers.

A listing or inquiry does not automatically create a completed sale, an offer, or an obligation for CEVEW to complete a transaction between independent parties.

05 User Eligibility and Authority

Users must have the legal capacity required to use the relevant services in their jurisdiction. Business representatives must have appropriate authority to submit information on behalf of the business they represent.

Where applicable, users must comply with local laws, export restrictions, import rules, tax requirements, and other relevant regulations. Specific jurisdictional requirements should be confirmed according to applicable local law.

06 Seller Registration and Business Representation

Where seller accounts or submissions are supported, sellers must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current. Sellers must have authorization to represent the business and publish the submitted information.

Impersonation, fake businesses, misleading identities, unauthorized use of another business's name, and false ownership claims are prohibited.

Note: CEVEW does not currently perform formal identity checks or independent business verification unless specifically stated at the time of listing. Appearance on the platform does not imply verification.

07 Seller Listing Requirements

Business, product, and service listings must be accurate, relevant, and lawful. Where applicable, listings should clearly describe:

  • Business or seller identity
  • Product or service details
  • Relevant specifications
  • Pricing and currency, when provided
  • Availability, when represented
  • Applicable terms, restrictions, or conditions
  • Contact and fulfillment information, when relevant

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to publish descriptions, photographs, logos, trademarks, and other listing materials. Mandatory-field requirements are consistent with the actual submission form on the platform.

08 Product and Service Information

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, images, specifications, origin claims, warranties, certifications, stock information, and other representations they provide.

False advertising, counterfeit claims, deceptive pricing, fake discounts, misleading product photographs, and unsupported certifications are prohibited. Users should obtain additional information from the seller when important details are missing.

CEVEW does not independently inspect or verify every product.

09 Pricing, Taxes, and Additional Charges

Sellers are responsible for providing accurate prices and disclosing relevant taxes, shipping costs, customs duties, service fees, and other applicable charges when required.

Prices displayed on a listing may be subject to confirmation by the seller. Where any fee, commission, or paid service is later introduced by CEVEW, the applicable charges will be disclosed before the relevant paid service is used.

10 Orders, Inquiries, and Contract Formation

Browsing a listing, sending an inquiry, requesting a quotation, placing an order, and completing a transaction are different activities. Where CEVEW only facilitates contact, buyers and sellers must independently confirm product details, quantities, prices, payment terms, delivery arrangements, and other material conditions.

An inquiry does not necessarily constitute an order or an accepted offer. Where an actual order or checkout mechanism is introduced, its order-confirmation, cancellation, and fulfillment process will be described accurately at that time.

11 Payments and Financial Transactions

CEVEW does not currently process purchase payments, hold funds in escrow, or operate a payment-protection service. Where payments occur, they are arranged directly between buyers and sellers or through another provider agreed by those parties.

Users should confirm the seller's identity, total cost, payment instructions, and transaction terms before transferring funds.

Fraud notice: Fraudulent payment requests, deceptive invoices, and any attempt to impersonate CEVEW for financial gain are prohibited. Report suspected fraud to contact@cevew.com.

Where online payment functionality is later introduced, applicable payment terms will be published before users can transact through it.

12 Shipping, Delivery, and Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for clearly communicating applicable delivery methods, costs, estimated timelines, restrictions, and fulfillment obligations where relevant.

CEVEW does not currently act as the carrier or fulfillment provider for transactions between independent parties. Delivery estimates, customs procedures, and availability may vary by location and seller. Specific shipping partnerships, tracking systems, or delivery guarantees should not be assumed unless expressly stated.

13 Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Buyers should review the seller's return, refund, warranty, and cancellation conditions before completing a transaction. Where transactions occur directly between users, the relevant seller's stated terms and applicable law govern the transaction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.

CEVEW does not independently issue refunds for payments it has not received or processed. Where CEVEW later processes orders or payments, a separate refund and cancellation policy will be published before that functionality launches.

14 Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Accurate listing information
  • Lawful products and services
  • Required licenses and authorizations
  • Appropriate pricing and disclosures
  • Their communications with buyers
  • Fulfilling accepted orders
  • Meeting applicable tax and consumer-protection obligations
  • Respecting intellectual property and privacy rights
  • Honoring their applicable transaction terms

CEVEW does not guarantee the performance of any seller.

15 Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers should:

  • Review listings carefully
  • Ask questions before committing
  • Confirm the seller's identity and relevant credentials
  • Verify specifications, availability, pricing, and total costs
  • Review payment and delivery terms
  • Keep appropriate transaction records
  • Comply with applicable laws

Fraudulent purchase requests, abusive conduct, unauthorized use of other users' information, and payment manipulation are prohibited.

16 Prohibited Products, Services, and Conduct

The following listings and activities are prohibited:

  • Illegal goods and services
  • Counterfeit products
  • Stolen property
  • Fraudulent business identities
  • Misleading claims or fake certifications
  • Products prohibited by applicable law
  • Intellectual-property violations
  • Unauthorized use of personal information
  • Malware, scams, and phishing
  • Spam and manipulative listing practices
  • Attempts to evade applicable legal restrictions

Additional category-specific restrictions may apply. Not every product category is supported, and every listing should not be assumed to have been pre-screened.

17 Intellectual Property Rights

Users must own or have permission to use the content they submit. By submitting content, users grant CEVEW the limited permission needed to display, host, format, and distribute that content as required to operate the relevant service.

CEVEW does not claim ownership of sellers' trademarks, photographs, or product designs. Users must not copy or misuse CEVEW's branding, site content, or other protected materials without authorization.

For intellectual-property complaints, refer to the Content Removal Policy.

18 Reviews, Ratings, and User-Generated Content

Where review, rating, or user-generated content features are available, fake reviews, paid reviews presented deceptively, impersonation, harassment, threats, and knowingly false claims are prohibited.

Users are responsible for their submitted content, and CEVEW may moderate or remove content according to its policies and applicable law. A review-verification system should not be assumed unless implemented.

19 Fraud Prevention and Transaction Safety

Users are encouraged to independently verify important information before paying or entering into a business arrangement. Users should be cautious of suspicious payment instructions, unusually favorable offers, impersonation, and requests for sensitive financial information.

Suspected fraudulent listings can be reported through the actual available contact channels, including contact@cevew.com. CEVEW does not currently promise fraud detection, transaction monitoring, insurance, or reimbursement services.

20 Listing Review, Suspension, and Removal

CEVEW may review, restrict, reject, or remove listings and content where permitted by its policies, operational needs, or applicable law. Potential reasons include inaccurate information, suspected fraud, intellectual-property complaints, unlawful content, duplicate listings, policy violations, or security concerns.

Publication does not mean a business, seller, or product has been independently verified or endorsed. Refer to the Business Listing Policy and Content Removal Policy for further details. Specific review times or guaranteed reinstatement should not be assumed.

21 Third-Party Businesses and External Links

Listings may direct users to independent businesses or third-party websites. Third parties operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, prices, and transaction procedures.

CEVEW is not responsible for third-party content or conduct to the extent permitted by applicable law. External businesses should not be assumed to be CEVEW partners or endorsed sellers.

22 Privacy and Personal Information

Users should only share personal or business information necessary for the relevant interaction and should avoid publishing sensitive information in public listings. Refer to the CEVEW Privacy Policy for information about the collection and handling of personal information.

Users remain responsible for their own privacy and for handling other people's information lawfully.

23 Advertising and Sponsored Listings

Paid promotions, featured listings, or sponsored placements are governed by separate terms when such services become available. These services are not currently available for purchase.

Paid placement, when introduced, will not automatically mean verification, endorsement, or guaranteed sales. For more details, see the Advertise With Us page.

24 Disclaimer of Warranties

Directory and marketplace information is provided for business discovery and informational purposes, subject to the features actually available.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CEVEW does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, suitability, or commercial success of third-party listings. Users should independently assess businesses, products, and offers before making important decisions.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory legal warranties or statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

25 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CEVEW is not responsible for losses arising from third-party listings, independent transactions between users and businesses, inaccurate third-party information, service interruptions, or unauthorized conduct.

Matters within CEVEW's direct control and transactions between independent parties should be distinguished when assessing responsibility. CEVEW does not claim exemption from every form of liability, and nothing here excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law, including any non-waivable statutory rights.

Specific monetary liability caps or jurisdiction-specific limitations should be inserted only after appropriate legal review.

26 Indemnification

Where legally appropriate, users may be responsible for claims or losses arising from their unlawful conduct, submitted content, infringement, or material breach of these terms.

This provision is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and is not intended to be unnecessarily broad or unfair to consumers. Non-waivable consumer protections are preserved.

27 Service Availability and Changes

CEVEW may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as reasonably necessary. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed unless expressly stated. New marketplace functionality may require additional terms before launch.

A specific service-level agreement, uptime percentage, or maintenance schedule should not be assumed unless one is contractually established.

28 Account Suspension and Termination

Where accounts exist, access may be restricted or terminated in response to fraud, security threats, repeated violations, or legal requirements. Where accounts do not exist, this section applies only to access to relevant features and submitted listings.

Termination does not remove obligations that lawfully survive termination.

29 Governing Law and Disputes

Applicable law governs the interpretation of these terms. Disputes will be handled by the competent forum as required by applicable law.

Legal review required: The specific governing law, jurisdiction, courts, and dispute procedure must be confirmed by a qualified legal professional based on CEVEW's actual legal status and location. Mandatory arbitration, foreign jurisdiction, or waiver of statutory rights should be inserted only with an informed legal basis.

30 Changes to These Terms

CEVEW may revise these terms as its features, policies, or legal obligations evolve. The revised version will be published on this page, and any legally required notice or consent will be provided where applicable.

Effective dates, last-updated dates, and time-related references should not be assumed unless the website owner has confirmed them.
